Paula works best with fabrics that strike the right balance between structure and drape. Think thin jacquard, gabardine, heavier viscose, tencel or twill. Stiff fabrics with little drape will cause the pleats to open up more, resulting in a slightly rounder silhouette, which is totally fine if you like that look. Fabrics that drape will fall more closely to the leg.
